Adger Cowans is a vibrant and active force who creates new paintings prolifically, while continuing to photograph daily. His recent monograph, ADGER, reflects one of his core tenants - excellence emerges when energy, intention, and symbiotic relationships are aligned. ADGER highlights a fraction of his photographic work, yet exemplifies his ability to reinvent himself in his work, expressing a purity of heart through what he experiences and feels through an amorphic existence.
Among his hundreds of associations with Hollywood films, solo and group shows, special projects, books, publications, articles, media appearances and awards, Adger continues to share himself, his energy and work with public audiences. Only recently has he decided to come out of the shadows and share his work, much of what the world has been unaware of these past 60 years.
